By accessing or using Process ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Process is an AI-powered educational learning tool designed to help individuals with complex trauma understand their emotional patterns and responses. The App provides:

  • Learning tools for emotional exploration and understanding
  • Secure chat interface for educational sessions
  • User account management and conversation history

Process is an educational learning tool, not medical treatment or therapy. This platform is designed to help trauma survivors understand their emotional patterns and responses through trauma-informed education. It is not therapy, medical advice, or a replacement for professional mental health care.

This tool is designed to complement professional support by providing educational insights between therapy sessions. Users are encouraged to seek professional mental health care when possible.

Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to use Process. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use the App.

Subscription and Payment

  • Process offers premium features through subscription plans
  • Subscriptions are managed through Stripe and billed automatically
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

Emergency Situations

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or having thoughts of self-harm or suicide, please:

  • Call 911 (US) or your local emergency number
  • Contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US): 988
  • Go to your nearest emergency room
  • Contact your mental health provider immediately

Process is not equipped to handle crisis situations and should not be used as emergency support.

User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the App
  • You acknowledge that Process is an educational tool and not medical treatment
  • You are responsible for your own mental health and wellbeing
  • You agree to seek professional help if you experience distressing symptoms

Limitation of Liability

Process is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to emotional distress or mental health outcomes.

By using this App, you acknowledge that:

  • Process is an educational tool, not medical treatment
  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes or improvements
  • We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on the educational content
  • You use this tool at your own risk and discretion

Data Collection and Privacy

  • We collect personal information including email, name, and chat conversations
  • All data is encrypted and stored securely in AWS US East 1 region
  • Chat messages are automatically deleted after 365 days
  • You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
  • We do not share your data with third parties except as required for service operation

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Claude AI (Anthropic): For educational conversation processing
  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Mailjet: For email notifications
  • AWS: For data storage and infrastructure

Intellectual Property

  • The App and its content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App without permission
  • User-generated content remains your property

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on the App.
